Gul'dan is usually a important figure in Warcraft lore, a strong warlock and founder from the complete dang Orcish Horde. When he ultimately became a raid boss in World of Warcraft earlier this year, it was a Big Deal. Even now, he has no cakewalk to fight. That is why it really is so astounding that a player, Mionee, has managed to beat him all by herself.
Soon after a series of trial and error (and math), Mionee's first thriving run ended up after taking an hour and nine minutes. It was a lot more of a multi-stage marathon than a sprint.
In the description of a video, Mionee explains that this encounter was a puzzle, even for any solo-er as knowledgeable as herself. The largest problem is that, early on, great ol' Guldie is immune damage. Following that he becomes enraged, boosting his damage to a point where you actually don't choose to confuse with him unless you may have got, you understand, a whole raid is within your back pocket.
Having said that, Mionee realized that Gul'dan's enrage instances out just after 30 minutes, and in the very first phase from the fighting, he's mainly passive, which sees you battle three demonic minibosses while Gul'dan chills out and acts evil. Furthermore, among the minibosses, Inquisitor Vethriz, doesn't even move, generating it feasible to avoid his and Gul'dan's attacks for half an hour. Obviously, it's important to do this perfectly, mainly because 900% of your damage-boosted bursts of liquid hellfire are bad news.
Regrettably, Gul'dan also summons the evil eyes that get the enrage effect too, and also the eyes spawns only get trickier within the second and third phases from the fight. On Reddit, Mionee explained that she had to seriously gear up this concrete aspect of the fight. She wrote: "I did math on whether it was achievable to accomplish [the eyes] or not and what kind of optimization I needed for them. A couple of weeks ago I remembered the Moroes ring existed, for instance, so I used item restoration to recover an old 1 I had vendored."
In spite of that, Mionee says that "the fight really starts at the 42:30ish mark, so that is much more of a 27 minute fight" in lieu of a pitched hour-long warlock battle - for her, anyway, because remember that she is also ludicrously good at WoW.
